HOW TO PRICE YOUR DONATION
If possible please package or bundle your items and price/mark them prior to drop-off. This is a huge help to us and we very much appreciate your time and effort.
- Place small items such as ribbons, buttons, fabric scraps in a securely sealed, clear plastic bag
- Price in even dollar amounts only: $1, $2, $5, etc.
- Mark the prices with permanent ink, in large print, on stickers or masking tape and securely fasten to items or packages.
- Please try to include fiber content, yardage, etc. All known information is helpful.
If you are unsure about pricing, consider the availability, age and condition of the item and assign a value of approximately 25% to 50% off the original cost. If you don’t know the original cost, please make your best guess.
Remember this is a fundraiser for all of TACtile’s programs. Every dollar counts.

Long before the current DIY movement was even KIYing around on its hands and knees, TACtile director Dianne Denholm was ahead of her time as the owner of the D'Leas fabric store. But she had a dream, which is now slowly coming to fruition, of creating a kind of collective, in which fiber organizations could meet and work, teach and attend classes, display their wares and buy materials. Inspired by the Textile Center in Minneapolis, TACtile is well on its way to becoming a community work of art, and Denholm should hold her head--and hands--high.
