at TACtile, 1955 S. Quince St. Denver 80231
Celebrate our two creative organizations for a free event designed to introduce alpaca fiber and the beautiful clothing and accessories they become to you!
There will be several alpacas at the event as well as alpaca owners, to discuss the animals and their care, and to show their raw flece.
Inside TACtile, alpaca products are available plus
these local artists will be giving free demonstrations
or showingfinished products:
Weldon Walker weaving scarves;
Sue Lindt on the triangle loom;
Cheri Paxson demonstrating microwave dyeing or knitting;
Deb Tewell working on wet/needle felted projects;
Coral Dillon working on her loom knitted project;
Barb DeDecker demonstrating yarn spinning;
Judy Sims-Barlow working on her nuno felted project;
Deanna Curry Elrod making and showing her hand-felted Western hats with silk/alpaca laminate felt band; and
Barb Ziek working on her wet/needle three-dimensional felted wallhanging.
